Who We Are

Grey Area changes the way games tie in with the world we live in. The Company was founded to create breakthrough gaming experiences using real world locations as the context for mobile games. Grey Area released Shadow Cities – a location based MMORPG – globally in 2011, which has became a category defining game tittle.
We see cities as playing fields, neighborhoods as front lines.
The core group comprises Mikko Hämäläinen, Andreas Karlsson, Teemu Tuulari and Ville Vesterinen with a network of world class investors and advisors. We are currently looking for more talent to join our team of 15. Regardless of where you reside, if you get games and just got interested, get in touch!
You can follow Grey Area on Twitter @greyarealabs and Like our Facebook stream to stay in the loop.
